Writing checks in NXOpen
Anyone with a solid background in NX automation will have crossed paths with Knowledge Fusion. Syntactically confused, almost “anti-documented” and without proper IDE support - its a programming language from a time when men where men and for some reason prone to intellectual self harm. Its just not great. I got quite competent with it - competent enough to know the language should be consigned to fire. BUT if you wanted to write custom checks for checkmate - you had to learn it.
Good news
The good news is that Siemens have slowly been peeling away from KF. The following table shows this progress in action.
